VIDEO: Strong Explosion Hits Central Madrid

A strong explosion has occurred in a building located in the central district of Madrid on Wednesday. According to El Pais, the causes of the explosion remain unknown. The incident took place on Toledo Street at 15:00 local time (18:00 Yerevan time).

The upper floors of the building have been damaged as a result of the explosion. Sources indicate that the incident likely happened in a nursing home. It has been reported that at least 6 people have been injured. One Spanish source suggested that a gas explosion could be the probable cause of the incident.
