Road Closures in Armenia: Lars Pass Open Only for Passenger Vehicles

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported that there are road closures within the territory of Armenia. In the Aragatsotn region, the roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to the Amberd fortress and to the Kar river are closed. The Vardenyats Pass is closed to all vehicles.

In the Vayots Dzor region, the Chiva-Yelpin and Saravan-Zanger roads, as well as in the Syunik region, the Goris-Shurnukh and Sisian-Zanger roads, particularly the area known as "Meghri Mountain," are difficult to navigate.

In the Aragatsotn region, there is black ice present in sections of the roads connecting the cities of Aparan and Talin, as well as in the Lori region's Vanadzor and Stepanavan roads. Snowfall has been recorded in the Aragats, Aparan, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik regions.
