Ministry of Defense Presents Sequence for Issuing Housing Purchase Certificates to Military Pensioners
The Central Housing Commission of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has issued a statement regarding the following:
For the information of military pensioners registered in the housing records with long-term service: Military retirees released with the right to military pension and registered during their military service as eligible for housing support, who have not been provided a housing unit or state financial assistance in the form of land plots during their service, will receive state financial assistance to purchase a residence or residential house by December 1, 2022. This will be facilitated through the issuance of housing purchase certificates based on the order of the registration years of beneficiaries, with the following priorities: 1. Regions bordering the Republic of Armenia, 2. Other regions of the Republic of Armenia, 3. Yerevan city.
The following order of priority has been established for the regions of Armenia: 1) Tavush, 2) Vayots Dzor, 3) Syunik, 4) Gegharkunik, 5) Ararat, 6) Shirak, 7) Lori, 8) Armavir, 9) Aragatsotn, 10) Kotayk, 11) Yerevan city.
Based on the established priority, it is proposed that beneficiaries who are registered and have not yet updated their housing files as of the date of registration in Tavush, Vayots Dzor, Syunik, Gegharkunik, Ararat, Shirak, Lori, Armavir, and Aragatsotn regions must submit the following documents: - A copy of the discharge order, - Copies of the ID cards of the beneficiary and their family members (with originals), - A copy of the marriage (or divorce) certificate (with the original), - A certificate from the passport department regarding the registration addresses of the beneficiary and their family members, - Copies of ownership certificates for the residential properties (with original documents), as well as a certificate about registered individuals in those residences from the passport department, - A certificate from the housing cooperative about cohabiting individuals, - A certificate from the State Committee for Real Estate Cadastre concerning residential property transactions in the last five years under the names of the beneficiary and their family members, - For those registered in disaster zones or affected persons, a corresponding certificate confirming no housing or acquisition certificate for housing from the relevant authority.
