France Ready to Continue Deepening Cooperation, Ambassador Lacôt to Armenian Deputy Prime Minister
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Mher Grigoryan, received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France in Armenia, Jonathan Lacôt. The meeting was also attended by Raphael Roza, the head of the French Development Agency for the South Caucasus region. This information was provided by the Armenian government.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to friendly France for standing by Armenia during difficult times and for providing humanitarian support.
Presenting the situation created in Artsakh as a result of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan in September, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan emphasized the existing key issues and the programs initiated by the Government to address them.
Ambassador Jonathan Lacôt informed the Deputy Prime Minister about France's readiness to continue deepening cooperation in both multilateral and bilateral formats, as well as to support Armenia, particularly in the fields of health care, environment, and infrastructure.
During the meeting, the regional head of the French Development Agency presented the programs being implemented in Armenia and possible directions for expanding cooperation.
