Foreign Ministry Studies Responses from Various Countries and International Organizations During the War
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia is examining the responses of various countries and international organizations during the war, based on which adjustments will be made in Armenia's foreign policy.
According to Armenpress, this was stated by Armenia's Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan during a Q&A session with the government in the National Assembly, in response to a question by Narek Mkrtchyan, a member of the My Step faction.
Mkrtchyan reminded that Armenia joined the International Religious Freedom Alliance, formed in February 2020, on June 12, yet during the war, that alliance made no statements regarding the attacks on Armenian religious heritage in Artsakh.
“Ensuring the security of the state remains a priority issue for our foreign policy, and based on the protection of our state and national interests, we will make sober and pragmatic decisions. We are seriously analyzing the positions of various organizations, countries, and regions during the war and will implement the necessary adjustments,” said Ayvazyan.
