Armenian Defense Minister Visits Military Unit

On January 20, the Minister of Defense of Armenia visited one of the special forces units of the Armenian Armed Forces. Vagharshak Harutyunyan toured the buildings of the military unit, familiarizing himself with current activities and upcoming tasks.

The command of the military unit reported to the Minister of Defense about the service, processes of transformation, as well as planned reinforcements. Harutyunyan emphasized the daily preparedness of the troops, particularly the special operations forces, and the reinforcement of combat readiness.

The Minister of Defense also placed special importance on the role of higher education in the training of commanders, underscoring the priority of studying at the best military academies, according to reports from the Ministry of Defense.
