Armenia to Compensate Employers for Payroll Tax of Employees in Artsakh

Under a state support program in Artsakh, registered and operating private companies will be reimbursed for the income tax of their paid employees. This information was provided to Armenpress by the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Migration of Artsakh.

"To support the preservation and creation of jobs in Artsakh and to encourage employment, state assistance has been established. Specifically, starting from January 2021, support will be provided for a period of 6 months, covering the entire volume of income tax paid by companies each month. As a result, companies will not incur any actual expenses related to income tax. This is a significant incentive for businesses, enabling them to maintain existing jobs and contribute to the creation of new ones. New companies being established in Artsakh can also take advantage of this unique opportunity," the ministry specified.
