Armenia Rejects Azerbaijani Claims on Shushi as Turkish Cultural Center: Ara Ayvazyan
The Republic of Armenia will not agree with the Azerbaijani claims that the city of Shushi is a Turkish cultural center. This was stated by Armenia's Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan during a Q&A session in the National Assembly in response to a question from MP Tatevik Hayrapetyan of the My Step faction.
“Shushi is an Armenian cultural center. We will not accept the claims that Shushi is a Turkish cultural center. We are confident that we will receive support from the international community on this issue,” Ayvazyan said.
Azerbaijani authorities have announced their intention to transform Shushi into a Turkish cultural center.
