24-Year-Old Man Charged for Driving Without a License

The preliminary investigation into a criminal case regarding a 24-year-old man driving a vehicle without a license has concluded at the Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

According to the data obtained during the investigation, the 24-year-old man, lacking the right to drive, operated a BMW vehicle on August 13, 2020, in the city of Masis. This action was observed by officers of the Road Police’s patrol service, who recorded the violation and prepared an administrative offense protocol.

About two weeks after the administrative penalty was imposed, specifically on August 26, 2020, around 18:20, the 24-year-old man again drove a VAZ 2106 vehicle on Khorenatsi Street in Vanadzor, for which an administrative offense protocol was once again prepared.

Based on sufficient evidence collected, charges have been filed against the 24-year-old man under Article 243.1, Part 1.1 of the RA Criminal Code. A preventive measure in the form of a signature not to leave has been applied to him. The preliminary investigation has concluded, and the criminal case has been sent to the prosecutor’s office with a request for approval of the indictment.
