17 New Cases of Coronavirus Detected in Artsakh

On January 19, a total of 138 tests were conducted in Artsakh, resulting in the confirmation of 17 new cases of coronavirus. This information was reported by the Artsakh Ministry of Health.

"The infected individuals are residents of Stepanakert city, who are contacts of previously confirmed clusters. Specialists from the Ministry of Health's Center for Epidemiology and Hygiene have conducted disinfection work in confirmed clusters and have also taken samples for testing from contacts of the confirmed cases.

In total, 2,257 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Artsakh, with 31 resulting in death. Currently, 40 infected individuals are receiving inpatient treatment, while mild cases are being treated at home. A total of 18,695 tests have been conducted.

The Artsakh Ministry of Health once again urges adherence to guidelines to avoid new outbreaks and to overcome the coronavirus infection as soon as possible," the Ministry of Health reported.
