Revelations of Employee Non-Registration and Violation of Cash Register Rules by the State Revenue Committee

The State Revenue Committee has uncovered incidents of employee non-registration and violations of cash register usage rules within the framework of the tax compliance improvement program. In December 2020, an analysis of the disciplinary conduct among taxpayers operating in certain sectors identified by the Risk Council was conducted.

As a result, among 21 taxpayers operating in the public catering sector, 2 cases of employee non-registration and 19 violations of cash register usage rules were recorded during December. Moreover, 18 taxpayers with reported sales turnover exceeding 400 million drams in 2019 also faced 2 cases of employee non-registration and 16 violations of cash register rules.

It should be noted that the effective and timely implementation of the State Revenue Committee's strategy for improving tax and customs discipline, along with related measures, is managed by the Risk Council.
