High-Tech Development is a Main Priority for Armenia’s Economic Growth, Says Hakob Arshakyan

The aim of the "Armenian Virtual Bridge" program is to connect Armenia with international technology hubs by leveraging the power of Armenian scientific intellect. This was stated by the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Hakob Arshakyan, on his Facebook page.

“Expper Technologies, Embry Tech, CoinStats, RetentionForce, @Hub Tech, URAAA, payva, GeBe Cert, Easydmarc, eSwap, 3dzook, Earlyone, Chessify, ForgeFiction, Lucky Carrot: These companies were the winners of the "Armenian Virtual Bridge" program created through the collaboration of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, AGBU, and Draper University in 2020. Each of these companies has the opportunity to attract significant investments and conquer markets both in Armenia and abroad.

On January 28, the companies will have the opportunity to present their projects to international entrepreneurs, partners, and investors.

High-tech development is not only crucial for the economic development of Armenia but is also among the main priorities of the government. Soon, the ministry will announce new grant programs for entrepreneurship, retraining, and new development opportunities.

“The goal of the 'Armenian Virtual Bridge' program is to connect Armenia with international technology centers by harnessing the power of Armenian scientific intellect, relying on the capabilities and potential of the Diaspora,” Arshakyan added.
