Extraordinary Incident Occurs in Syunik Region During Search Operations

An extraordinary incident occurred today in the Syunik region during search operations. While conducting searches for missing persons and remains from the war near the village of Nrnadzor in the Meghri area, there was an explosion of a mine. As a result, Captain Artyom Ignatyi Shahnazaryan from the Syunik regional rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, and Senior Firefighter Sub-lieutenant Aram Sergey Navasardyan sustained injuries of varying degrees.

The injured received first aid at the Meghri Medical Center and were subsequently transferred to the Kapan Hospital. It is also worth noting that our colleagues from the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations are participating in the rescue-search operations.
