236 New Cases, 9 Deaths in One Day: COVID-19 Situation in Armenia

The number of COVID-19 infected individuals in Armenia has increased by 236 in the last day, reaching a total of 164,912. This information is reported by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Currently, 7,671 people are receiving actual treatment (-214), and 626,377 tests have been conducted (+2,224). A total of 153,500 individuals have recovered from the virus (+436). There have been 3,007 registered deaths (+9).

The number of individuals who died from COVID-19 but for other reasons has increased by 5 in the last day, bringing the total to 734.

We remind that a state of emergency has been declared in Armenia since March 16, 2020, which has been extended several times and lasted until September 11. The conditions of the extended state of emergency have undergone certain modifications.
