Society Will One Day Learn the Full Story of Our Disgraceful Defeat: Naira Zohrabyan

Member of Parliament from the Prosperous Armenia faction, Naira Zohrabyan, wrote on her Facebook page: "During the time of lustration, after the 44-day war, there was talk at the highest levels about betrayal and traitors. Various high-ranking military officials have hinted at the existence of facts related to betrayal. Pashinyan has repeatedly spoken about certain traitors who should be held accountable. Names have not been mentioned, but the genie is out of the bottle, and society will one day know the full story of our disgraceful defeat. According to their own statements, betrayal also occurred.

Many countries, including both Eastern and Western Europe, have enacted lustration laws over the years and have revealed all agents. The justification for such a law is very clear: preventing crimes directed against constitutional order and national security. We entered this war without an immune system. In the last two and a half years, our immune system has been neutralized, and I have the right to have legitimate suspicions that all of this has been done intentionally, and here, yes, the largest role has been played by agency networks funded by various countries, acting under the guise of all democratic names and ideas.

Yes, the political sphere and the judicial system must be subjected to lustration. After all, today in the political sphere, in various circles of power, there are numerous figures who have benefited from Turkish-Azerbaijani peace grants, who have lived for months with Azerbaijanis in so-called 'peace camps' in various European countries, and whose NGOs have spread devastating ideas through Soros-funded channels, attempting to open the Overton window.

I believe that a consensus must be formed in the political sphere regarding lustration so that we can restore the backbone of our country's security, which has been shattered to pieces. And let them not tell me that exposing agents will open an uncontrollable Pandora's box. If we are forced to go through Pandora's box to restore our national immunity, then we must have the courage and audacity to proceed. There is simply no other option."
