I cannot imagine how it is possible to hold early parliamentary elections now, said Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the "Enlightened Armenia" faction in Parliament.

"Our brothers and sisters are in Azerbaijani prisons, how can we go to their homes and distribute campaign leaflets? I cannot envision early parliamentary elections at a time when the process of recognizing a large number of our heroic martyrs is ongoing. How can you go to their yards and speak through a loudspeaker?" he said, adding that since the authorities are threatening with early elections, they are ready.

Marukyan also presented the procedure—Nikol Pashinyan's resignation, after which the Prime Minister is not elected twice and the Parliament self-dissolves. "There is no other procedure," emphasized the leader of the "Enlightened Armenia" faction.
