Migrants Demand Biden Fulfill Pre-Election Promises

Migrants moving from Honduras towards the US borders are demanding that newly elected President Joseph Biden fulfill his pre-election promises. Thousands of migrants have already entered Guatemala and are pushing forward. They hope for a warmer reception than they could have expected during Donald Trump's administration.

During the televised debates with Trump on October 22, Biden promised that if elected, he would grant American citizenship to 11 million undocumented immigrants. He indicated his intention to make this decision at the very beginning of his presidency. Additionally, he promised that undocumented minors would be allowed to stay in the country and would have a pathway to citizenship.
