It Seems You Know the Path to Radical Changes, But Keep It Secret From Me: Badassyan to Babajanyan
The changes are cosmetic in nature, referring to the amendments planned in the judicial system, said NA deputy Arman Babajanyan during the discussion of the corresponding draft in parliament.
According to him, the criteria for selecting candidates for judges of the first instance and appellate anti-corruption courts have not been revised so as to provide a broader opportunity to choose candidates who are not compromised by corruption.
Justice Minister Rustam Badassyan also addressed Babajanyan, saying that he has the impression that the deputy knows the path to radical changes but keeps it secret.
“I ask you not to keep it secret, please present the roadmap for radical changes, but better yet, the draft. You criticize well. Those who do not contribute to the enhancement of the judicial power's reputation, direct your criticism towards them,” said the minister.
