My father used to say, 'You know, go tell them this thing, but don’t say I said it, just say it...,' but the President of Artsakh did not find it necessary to meet
This is a huge disgrace, and it has become even more evident, Levon Kocharyan, son of the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, said in a conversation with journalists today, referring to a statement made by prosecutors during a court session regarding Kocharyan and others, saying, 'We are not judging you for liberating Shushi.'
According to him, there are many gaps at this moment that could yield results beneficial to Armenia through proper negotiations. 'But what we had is the result of incorrect diplomacy, which has been voiced multiple times, and unfortunately, our society was confused,' said Levon Kocharyan.
He characterized the authorities as shameless and expressed astonishment at their behavior. 'Remaining after all this is simply absurd,' he said.
When asked whether Robert Kocharyan would return to politics, he stated that his father has long been involved in politics. 'There will be opportunities to talk about future actions and time to present how it will be,' emphasized Kocharyan.
Commenting on the snap elections, Levon Kocharyan stated that this government will stop at nothing. 'They are ready for fraud and anything else, just to be re-elected,' he said.
Kocharyan’s son noted that in Artsakh, his father has tried everything both through advice and by suggesting in various ways. 'He even said, “You know, go tell them this thing, but don’t say I said it, just say it...,” but the President of Artsakh did not find it necessary to meet and discuss,' said L. Kocharyan.
It should be noted that today, after a long break, the court sessions for the case of the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan and others have resumed. In the case of March 1, the accused include Robert Kocharyan, who is charged with overthrowing the constitutional order and receiving large-scale bribes; former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia and former Secretary-General of the CSTO Yuri Khachaturov, who is accused of overthrowing the constitutional order; as well as former Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan, who is also accused of overthrowing the constitutional order, along with Armenia's former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan, who is charged with assisting in the overthrow of the constitutional order, receiving large-scale bribes, and legalizing property obtained through criminal means.
