Increase in Participation of Artsakh Telecom to Facilitate Cash Assistance Process

The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Artsakh, Grigori Martirosyan, convened a meeting to address the issues in the cash assistance distribution process. The Minister emphasized that the government of Artsakh will adopt alternative measures to provide the cash assistance aimed at overcoming the social difficulties arising from the recent war.

To facilitate the process, the involvement of Artsakh Telecom will be increased. After ensuring the necessary program base and carrying out organizational work, payments of 68,000 drams, scheduled for the coming months under social support programs, will be conducted in the service halls of the telecommunications operator. The possibility of transferring funds to card accounts is also being discussed.

Artsakh Post will continue to facilitate the distribution of support funds. To avoid long queues, it will soon implement targeted delivery of pension and benefit payments through postal workers.

The meeting was attended by responsible officials and representatives from relevant bodies coordinating the works.
