Anahit Avanesyan Appointed Minister of Health

Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian has appointed Anahit Avanesyan as the Minister of Health. The information was published by the President's press service.

“Based on the Prime Minister's recommendation, in accordance with Article 131 of the Constitution, as well as Article 5, part 1 of the Law on the Structure and Activities of the Government, Anahit Avanesyan has been appointed as the Minister of Health,” the decree states.

It is worth noting that prior to this appointment, Anahit Avanesyan held the position of Deputy Minister of Health.
