Macron Sends Letter to Erdogan Proposing to Normalize Relations Between Two Countries
Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has announced that French President Emmanuel Macron has sent a letter to Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressing a desire to normalize relations between Ankara and Paris. As reported by Armenpress, the Turkish foreign minister was quoted by the Turkish newspaper Sabah.
“Two days ago, we received a very good and positive letter from Macron, in which he wrote about developing relations and meeting with our president,” Çavuşoğlu said. According to him, the Turkish leader has responded positively to the letter from his French counterpart.
