Arthur Abraham Ends His Boxing Career
Professional boxer Arthur Abraham, the former WBO world champion in the super middleweight category, has announced that he is ending his boxing career. He will no longer be competing in matches. Abraham made this statement to NEWS.am Sport.
"I officially announce that I have completed my boxing career. I no longer want to fight; now I want to spend my time with my children, family, and parents," stated the boxer.
According to sources, the 40-year-old boxer, who resides in Germany, is currently in Yerevan with his family. He has been absent from the ring for an extended period. An official announcement regarding his retirement had not been previously made.
The Armenian boxer residing in Germany has participated in 53 matches during his professional career, achieving 47 victories and suffering 6 defeats. Abraham's last fight took place on April 28, 2019, in Offenburg, Germany, where he defeated Danish boxer Patrick Nielsen.
