Sports Scandal: Nivea Men and Skoda Withdraw Sponsorship for Hockey World Championship in Belarus

A sports scandal is brewing around the Hockey World Championship as at least two of its sponsors have officially declined to sponsor the event if it is held in Belarus. According to TASS, it was announced today that NIVEA and the Skoda automotive concern have made such statements.

It is noted that Skoda has been a sponsor of the championship for the past 28 years, while Nivea Men has been involved for more than 10 years.
