396 New Coronavirus Cases and 16 Deaths Confirmed in Armenia

As of January 15, 396 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 163,972.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health, 11 citizens have died from the virus in a single day, with the total death toll reaching 2,974. In the same day, there were 5 reported deaths of patients infected with the coronavirus who succumbed to other illnesses. As of January 15, the number of such cases stands at 726.

In total, 16 people died in one day, making the aggregate death toll rise to 3,700. Furthermore, 471 individuals have recovered in the last 24 hours, making the total number of recoveries 152,320. The number of active cases currently stands at 7,952, a decrease of 91 from the previous day.

During this period, 2,546 tests were conducted, and so far, a total of 619,066 tests have been performed.
