Traffic Closure on Haghpat Junction to Neghots Road Segment on January 15

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

In the Aragatsotn region, the roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude weather station to Amberd Fortress and the road to K’Ari lake are closed.

The interstate M-6 highway from the Haghpat Junction to the Neghots segment will be closed on January 15 from 13:30 to 17:00 due to blasting operations.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is closed for all types of vehicles due to avalanche risk, with 100 freight vehicles accumulated on the Russian side.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision barring foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. This ban does not apply to freight transport.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
