Eight New Cases of Coronavirus Detected in Artsakh
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh reports that in order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), epidemiological measures continue to be implemented by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh. In the last 24 hours, 61 tests were conducted, resulting in the detection of eight new cases of coronavirus.
According to the results of laboratory studies, mild cases that tested positive are receiving outpatient treatment at home, while severe cases are being treated in a hospital setting. Currently, 39 infected individuals are under inpatient care.
Overall, specialists from the Epidemiology and Hygiene Center of the Ministry of Health of Artsakh have conducted 17,923 sample tests, with 2,031 individuals confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus. A total of 31 deaths have been recorded, with 29 occurring in October and November, and the deaths of two individuals infected with the virus attributed to other underlying health conditions.
