Double-Digit Economic Growth is My Target: Vahan Kerobyan's Optimism Remains Unchanged

The newly appointed Minister of Economy of Armenia, Vahan Kerobyan, has not wavered in his optimism regarding economic development. "Double-digit economic growth is my target," Kerobyan stated during a conversation with journalists following a government session.

At the same time, he noted a significant decline of approximately 20% in the sectors of imports, exports, and consumption, while he believes that in 2020 the economy experienced an 8.5% downturn. Furthermore, the minister mentioned that there is a long list of measures to stabilize and develop the economy.

"The issues included in the government agenda are aimed at protecting economic potential and creating better working conditions for operators," he emphasized.
