Deadlines Extended for Applications to Support Programs for Artsakh Residents
The deadlines for applications for support programs provided to citizens registered in Artsakh have been extended to January 27, 2021. These programs include assistance for those registered in lost settlements (300,000 AMD per citizen), support for residents who lost their homes due to destruction and other reasons (250,000 AMD per citizen), and assistance for citizens without property (68,000 AMD + 15,000 AMD).
This information was communicated by the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, and Migration of the Republic of Artsakh.
The deadline for applications for the program aimed at hosting Artsakh residents in Armenia and Artsakh (30,000 AMD for each adult in Armenia and 45,000 AMD in Artsakh) has been extended to January 20, 2021.
The requirement to have been in Armenia or Artsakh as of November 16, 2020, to become a beneficiary of these programs has been lifted, as it had previously been a basis for rejections in certain cases. Additionally, the requirement to be registered in Artsakh as of the same date has also been waived, allowing individuals to become beneficiaries by registering in Artsakh at this time.
Citizens whose applications were rejected due to technical errors related to the residency requirement can reapply. Those who have not applied for the programs due to not being registered in Artsakh can visit passport registration centers for registration purposes (in Armenia, this will soon include the ability to apply at Armenian passport centers).
It is important to note that being registered in Artsakh will not only be a requirement for this program but also for future programs, so residents are urged to be diligent in their registration efforts.
If there are cases that constitute grounds for rejection, applicants can submit a request through the complaints section on the online.ssa.am website, where applications will be individually reviewed by our partners in Artsakh.
The ministry receives daily updates from the Artsakh government regarding unprocessed applications, which serve as the basis for the actual provision of assistance.
