Video: "If I start to pursue you, the entire public will be very happy" - Hayk Sargsyan to a journalist

Today, MP Hayk Sargsyan from the "My Step" faction of the National Assembly responded to a journalist's question regarding why he had pushed him during a press conference of military prosecutor Gagik Jhangiryan. He stated that he was trying to protect Jhangiryan, as he felt that the journalist aimed to bring Jhangiryan down.

“You wanted to bring Mr. Jhangiryan down,” he said, and in response to the journalist’s remark that Sargsyan was inciting, he retorted that such statements should not be repeated.

Sargsyan suggested reviewing the footage to verify that journalists were indeed pursuing Jhangiryan, to which the journalist responded that no journalist had pursued him, and that they could speak to the contrary.

“If I start to pursue you, the entire public will be very happy. Unfortunately, I have not started chasing yet,” Sargsyan replied.
