Gas Supply to Filling Stations and Yerevan Thermal Power Plant to be Temporarily Interrupted

Gazprom Armenia LLC informs that due to emergency recovery works on the main gas pipeline "Karmir Qamurj-Sevqar-Berd" with a diameter of 1020 mm, it is necessary to stop the natural gas supply to the Republic of Armenia through Georgia from January 14, 2023, at 07:00 until January 15, 2023, at 07:00.

Considering the technical capability of the underground gas storage facility to extract natural gas (maximum of 6.0 million cubic meters per day), and to avoid emergency or other unforeseen situations, Gazprom Armenia LLC has decided to interrupt the gas supply to filling stations and the Yerevan Thermal Power Plant for up to 36 hours starting from January 13, 2023, at 23:00, in accordance with point 5.5.a and point 5.5.1 of the “Natural Gas Supply and Use Rules” established by the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia.

Gazprom Armenia LLC requests all remaining subscribers to use natural gas as sparingly as possible during the specified period and apologizes for the inconveniences caused by this situation.
