Fire Erupts in Barn in Mkhchyan Village

On January 13, at 12:34 PM, the Ararat regional crisis management center received a report about a fire in a barn near the speedometer in Mkhchyan village. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, two firefighting units from the regional rescue department have been dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the fire broke out in a barn adjacent to a house on Alaverdi Street in Mkhchyan village. Firefighters managed to contain the fire by 12:53 PM and fully extinguished it by 1:33 PM. The fire destroyed 8 cubic meters of accumulated flammable materials and approximately 17 square meters of wooden structures in the roof.
