VIDEO: Illegal Timber Trucks Discovered in Ijevan

The Ijevan division of the police has uncovered illegal logging incidents on January 9 and 10. The groups stationed at a fixed checkpoint in the village of Gosh acted on operational information to check three trucks on the road bypassing the checkpoint. Two of the trucks were driven by residents of Getahovit, while one was driven by a resident of Gandzakar village.

The ZIL trucks were loaded with firewood and planks, totaling over 10 cubic meters. The drivers were unable to provide documentation verifying the legality of their cargo. The trucks have been moved to a secured area maintained by the Ijevan police. A professional examination has been initiated, and the circumstances of the incidents are under investigation.
