VIDEO: Guest Left Door Open, Man Entered Apartment and Stole Gold

On December 30, at 11:05 AM, a resident of Minsk Street in the capital called the police to report a theft at his home. The New Nork police responded to the call and arrived at the scene, taking necessary actions and talking to the homeowner. It became apparent that the homeowner had certain suspicions that needed to be verified.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. According to the homeowner, gold jewelry was stolen during the night of December 15, between 9 PM and 4 AM. During that time, a 42-year-old woman, who had been invited by the homeowner, was present at the house, and she was the main suspect in the case.

Thanks to the actions taken by the criminal investigators in New Nork, the identity of the woman was established. On January 8, through explanatory work, she presented herself to the police and categorically denied her involvement in the theft. However, criminal investigators had already confirmed that she was indeed involved.

Operative investigative measures revealed that the woman had previously conspired with a 31-year-old man from the village of Ayntap in the Ararat region, and together they executed their plan. On the day of the incident, the woman left the apartment door open and left the premises. After that, the man from Ayntap entered the house through the open door and, taking advantage of the homeowner's sleeping condition, stole gold jewelry, a wristwatch, and perfume.

On January 9, criminal investigators detained the man from Ayntap at his home in the village. Both individuals were presented to the investigative department, where they provided confessional statements. The stolen items have been partially recovered, and the preliminary investigation is ongoing.
