VIDEO: Deadly Fire in Yekaterinburg; Large Amounts of Cigarette Remnants Found in Burned Apartment

Eight people, including one child, have died as a result of a fire in a residential building in Yekaterinburg. This was reported by a source from the regional emergency services, according to TASS agency.

"On the night of January 12, 2021, law enforcement received an alert about a fire that broke out in a nine-story residential building in Yekaterinburg. Preliminary information indicates that eight people have died as a result of the fire, including one child," the statement reads.

A 17-year-old teenager has been hospitalized with first and second-degree burns. Additionally, he was diagnosed with poisoning.
