Protest Against Pashinyan in Moscow Ends Unceremoniously

Armenians in Moscow welcomed Nikol Pashinyan yesterday with banners reading "Traitor" and similar statements. However, the protest could be described as unceremonious; just as they failed to prevent his flight to Moscow, they could not manage a "proper welcome" for him there, either.

Only a few dozen Armenians gathered in front of the Armenian Embassy in Russia, putting up banners with messages rejecting Pashinyan and conducting a petition drive demanding his resignation, and that was it. The action was organized by the Union of Armenians of Russia, led by Ara Abrahamyan, along with local members of the political party Dashnaktsutyun.

After an hour, the banners were taken down, leading to a gradual decline in the number of participants. We were informed that approximately 500 people had joined the petition drive that began the day before, with about 70-80 signing yesterday. This was reported by the newspaper Hraparak.
