Following the release of a document from the trilateral meeting held in Moscow yesterday, government-affiliated media outlets enthusiastically reported that according to the new agreement, the railway connecting Armenia with Iran and Russia would be opened. This was stated by Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Bright Armenia' parliamentary faction, on his Facebook page.

He particularly mentioned, 'Meanwhile, the Armenian people had only one primary expectation from that meeting—the agreement on a tight schedule for the return of prisoners of war, which, however, did not take place. Thus, once again, the discussion focused exclusively on the enemy's agenda, agreements were signed only regarding issues raised by the enemy, while the ongoing issue of the return of prisoners of war, which has remained unresolved for months, was once again left pending.
