This New Year Passed Without Food Poisoning, Says Taghuhy Stepanyan
This New Year has been much quieter compared to the previous one. This was stated by the director of the Emergency Medical Service, Taghuhy Stepanyan, during a press conference.
“We serviced 1,377 fewer calls than last year. The total number of calls was 6,533, and 1,204 patients were transported to the hospital, which is 453 less than last year. Both pediatric calls and the number of hospitalized children have decreased. I must say that we had no cases of food poisoning at all,” said Taghuhy Stepanyan. She noted that there were 27 cases of alcohol poisoning, 20 of which required hospitalization.
