Shooters in Stepanakert Were Not Azerbaijanis, Two Locals Fired Into the Air Under Alcohol Influence: Poghosyan
Two residents of Stepanakert, under the influence of alcohol, fired into the air from an automatic weapon late at night, around 2-3 AM, perhaps a little later, in several neighborhoods of Stepanakert. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Artsakh President, Vahram Poghosyan, in an interview with Tert.am, refuting reports circulating in the media that Azerbaijani troops had entered Stepanakert and fired in several directions.
“At this moment, they have been arrested, and the police are conducting the necessary investigation,” Vahram Poghosyan noted. He emphasized that there is no need to panic, as Stepanakert and, in general, Artsakh continue to be under round-the-clock monitoring by the Defense Army and the Russian peacekeeping contingent present in Artsakh, ensuring the safety of the residents.
