Pelosi Calls Trump 'Putin's Hand Maiden'

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has referred to U.S. President Donald Trump as "Vladimir Putin's hand maiden" and suggested that there is something compromising about Trump in Russia, as reported by RIA Novosti.

"I don’t know what the Russians have on President Trump—personal, political, financial. There’s no other explanation for why the President of the United States has become Putin’s hand maiden to such a degree," Pelosi stated in an interview with CBS.

She also labeled Trump as "deranged" and expressed that he should face criminal accountability. "Unfortunately, the person who runs the executive branch is a deranged, unhinged, dangerous president of the United States. It will be a while before we can protect ourselves from him. But he has done something so serious that criminal prosecution will be required," Pelosi added.

For a long time, Democrats have accused Trump of colluding with Russia. Both the White House and the Kremlin have denied these claims. Special Counsel Robert Mueller, whose two-year investigation at the U.S. Department of Justice concluded in 2019, also found no evidence of "collusion."
