Sofia Hovsepyan has not discussed her decision to leave the faction with Nikol Pashinyan. “Unfortunately, I did not manage to discuss this issue with anyone. I wanted to discuss it with the faction leader, but at that moment he did not find it appropriate, and when he expressed his willingness, I no longer found it appropriate,” she told reporters.

When asked if she demands Nikol Pashinyan's resignation, Hovsepyan stated that at this stage, a temporary government should be organized. “If we are going to parliamentary elections and if we want to achieve fair elections, that decision should be made. If the people decide that Nikol Pashinyan is their candidate, then that would determine it,” she said.

Thus, in Hovsepyan’s opinion, before going to the parliamentary elections, a neutral government should be organized, without the leadership of Nikol Pashinyan. “Naturally, the National Assembly should elect that person,” she noted.
