The issue of the prisoners of war remains unresolved. This was stated by NA Republican MP Naira Zohrabyan on her Facebook page.

However, Nikol's group boldly claimed that no issue could be discussed without a consensus. As we saw, there was no consensus, and the joint statement signed in Moscow was exclusively a roadmap for the implementation of the 9th point of the disgraceful November 10 document—ensuring communications and unblocking transport routes.

Moreover, I should not forget to remind that Nikol and his court almost convinced the parents of prisoners that their sons were 'almost' sitting on an airplane in Baku and would soon arrive in Yerevan if the power-hungry opposition did not hold rallies. Furthermore, several parents of prisoners recalled, believing in the constant validity of this narrative, went and scolded the opposition members who were rallying in front of the government, asking why we were hindering Nikol, who was bringing their sons back.

It was that one person who, in the capitulation document signed on November 10, when surrendering Artsakh, failed to at least assure that our prisoners of war would be returned without any preconditions and as soon as possible.

And it was that one person who today in Moscow could not refuse to sign any document until the issue of prisoners of war was resolved. And since he did not act, Aliyev announces that those detained are diversants, and Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister and the representative of Azerbaijan to the UN are convincing the international community with a flurry of letters that they carried out an anti-terrorist operation in the Hadrut area and that the 62 detainees from Shirak are diversants.
