Vazgen Manukyan Comments on Meeting with Foreign Minister
During the meeting with Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan, some questions were satisfactorily answered for the opposition representatives, while others remained unaddressed. This was stated by Vazgen Manukyan, the prime ministerial candidate of the "Homeland Salvation Movement," in a conversation with journalists on January 9, summarizing the results of the meeting with the Foreign Minister.
"We received answers to our questions. Some of the responses were satisfactory, while others were left incomplete. We will discuss this in more detail after the next meeting," said Manukyan.
The prime ministerial candidate of the "Homeland Salvation Movement" mentioned that during the meeting, they expressed their concerns to the minister and listened to some explanations regarding them.
"As for more details, we still have a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and after all these meetings, we will summarize and make a statement," added Vazgen Manukyan, without specifying when the meeting with Chief of the General Staff Onik Gasparyan would take place.
Participants in the meeting on January 9 with the minister included representatives of the "Homeland Salvation Movement"—Vazgen Manukyan, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, and Artur Vanetsyan. In a previous statement, Vazgen Manukyan, the unified prime ministerial candidate of the movement, had reached out to Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan, Director of the National Security Service, Colonel Armen Abazyan, and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel-General Onik Gasparyan for the purpose of the meeting.
