This Government Has Closed the Page on Artsakh: Tigran Abrahamyan

The Russian Federation assigns greater significance to Artsakh, even at the level of statements, than to the office of the Prime Minister of Armenia. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, the head of the analytical center 'Henaket' and former advisor to the President of Artsakh, on his Facebook page.

“There is no mention of Artsakh in the agenda of the Pashinyan-led meeting in Moscow, as evidenced by the spokesperson's remarks. Economic issues, communications, etc., but nothing about Artsakh or the accumulated threats around it. Interestingly, the official statement from the Russian side regarding the same meeting also lists regional issues and support for residents affected by the war as agenda items.”

“At least at the level of statements, the Russian Federation assigns much greater importance to Artsakh than does the official holding the office of the Prime Minister of Armenia. The conclusion is simple: this government has closed the page on Artsakh, removing the issue from the Republic's primary agenda,” he concluded.
