Surik Papikyan to File a Complaint Against Mikayel Minasyan for False Accusation, Says Minister's Spokesperson
The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Surik Papikyan, will file a complaint with the Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan against Mikayel Minasyan for false accusations. This was announced by the minister's spokesperson, Armine Muradyan, on her Facebook page.
"Mikayel Minasyan, former ambassador of Armenia to the Vatican, today addressed Minister Surik Papikyan in his video message titled 'Requiem 7. Politics,' claiming that there is a criminal case opened against the minister regarding the alleged receipt of 450 million drams in connection with some undisclosed transaction. I inform you that Minister Papikyan will file a complaint against Mikayel Minasyan for false accusations to Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan," stated Muradyan.
At the same time, it is essential to note that the Prosecutor's Office has denied the existence of a criminal case against the mentioned officials, including Minister Papikyan.
It is noteworthy that Minasyan had claimed that there is a criminal case against Surik Papikyan for his involvement through his deputy and the deputy's father, as the father won a tender in asphalt spreading.
