Onik Gasparyan and Armen Abazyan Avoided Meeting: Vazgen Manukyan

We warn all parties to the alleged agreement that Nikol Pashinyan does not represent Armenia and Artsakh, and does not have the appropriate mandate. This statement is made in a declaration issued by Vazgen Manukyan, the spokesperson of the "Homeland Salvation Movement."

Below we present the text of the statement:

"There are numerous concerns and anxieties in the political and social circles regarding the upcoming meeting between Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev scheduled for January 11. The outcomes of that meeting could become a continuation of the capitulation of November 9."

"In order to clarify this issue, we initiated a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Director of the National Security Service, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. Onik Gasparyan and Armen Abazyan avoided the meeting, which deepened our concerns and suspicions. We welcome the fact that Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Aivazyan agreed to meet with us and provide clarifications on certain issues."

"The Homeland Salvation Movement declares that any decision made against the interests of Armenia and Artsakh will be recognized as illegitimate, rejected by the Armenian people, and will not be ratified or will be annulled after a change of power. We warn all parties to the alleged agreement that Nikol Pashinyan does not represent Armenia and Artsakh, and does not have the corresponding mandate."

"The Homeland Salvation Movement calls on the citizens of the Republic of Armenia to stand up for our country and to prevent a campaign of betrayal. The only way to halt the disastrous course of our country is the removal of the treacherous government, and we will continue to fight vigorously in that direction."
