Iran to Conduct Military Exercises in Southern Regions Soon
Iran will hold military exercises soon in the southern regions of the country. This was announced by the commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Forces, Brigadier General Kiumars Heydari, as reported by Mehr.
According to him, these exercises will be conducted with the support of other Iranian forces. He clarified that the exercises are aimed at increasing combat readiness and the defensive capabilities of Iranian forces in the southeastern areas and various sections of Iran's borders.
Referring to the Iranian Army's recent large-scale exercises, during which drones were utilized, the Iranian commander stated, "These exercises showcased the latest achievements of the Armed Forces in the field of aerial combat. Thus, we have demonstrated our country's capabilities under sanctions conditions over the past 40 years."
He added that the use of various UAVs during these exercises is one of Iran's strongest points against modern threats.
