Hayk Sargsyan Involved in Brawl at Friend's Birthday Celebration

On January 2, at approximately 15:30, at one of the restaurants in Tsaghkadzor, well-known public figure and MP Hayk Sargsyan, also known as "the Bottle Grabber," began to exhibit unruly behavior after consuming a certain amount of alcohol during a friend's birthday celebration. This was reported by the Telegram channel Dejavu.

According to the report, Sargsyan's behavior drew the attention of a nearby table, prompting him to respond by cursing loudly and shouting about how he should be recognized as an MP, claiming he can behave however he pleases. In retaliation, participants at the other table exchanged insults with the "Bottle Grabber," stating that they had no regard for his status and that an MP had no right to act so shamelessly.

In response, the Bottle Grabber attacked the participants at that table, leading to a confrontation and brawl. Realizing that he could not resolve the issue himself, Sargsyan called Police Chief V. Ghazaryan to instruct him to detain the other party involved.

Upon arrival, the police determined that Sargsyan was the sole instigator and tried to downplay the situation. However, inebriated and belligerent, Sargsyan called the police chief again, expressing outrage that the officers had not followed his orders. The phrase that particularly enraged him was, "You grab a bottle, yet you let a person go. In a couple of months, you will be grabbing a lot more; keep your hands busy!" Some individuals seated with the bottle grabber managed to calm him down, diffuse the situation, and eventually left the premises, taking the nearly unconscious MP with them.
