Attention: A Highly Common Scam in Recent Weeks

StaySecure’s Telegram channel reports that there is a very prevalent scam that has emerged in recent weeks. If a person is selling a product on List.am and they establish contact, the scammer may offer to make a payment and send a link to capture your card details.

There have been instances where they provide a fake Haypost website, simultaneously attempting to steal your banking information. Communications are usually made via Viber or WhatsApp, often from non-Armenian numbers, and conversations are conducted in Russian.

Be vigilant and do not share your card information with strangers.
