In Norilsk, Russia, near the "Gora Otdelnaya" ski resort, six buildings have been buried under an avalanche. This information was reported to TASS by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
As of 23:40 Moscow time, up to six buildings have been buried under the avalanche in the area of the "Gora Otdelnaya" ski slope. It is possible that there may be people trapped under the rubble, and rescue operations are underway, the service stated.
It was also reported that a 14-year-old boy has been successfully rescued from the debris, and his health condition is being assessed. "We just found a 14-year-old teenager; his health condition is being clarified," the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations told reporters.
More than 200 personnel and 18 pieces of equipment from the Siberian regional search and rescue team are currently working at the scene.
